Jim Carrey vs. 'Penguins'

Jim Carrey will keep the company of a flock of Arctic birds in his whimsical new family comedy, 'Mr. Popper's Penguins.' Based on a popular children's book written in 1938, 'Penguins' will find Carrey as a New York businessman whose life is transformed in all sorts of ways after he inherits half a dozen penguins -- which wreak havoc on his home and office, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jack Black, Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson were all considering taking on the project before Carrey committed to the film, which is expected to begin production this fall, per the Reporter.
