It’s no secret she loves her chihuahua pups, and Katharine McPhee was spotted tending to Nena’s needs on Thursday (February 3) in New York City.
During a break from filming, the “Say Goodbye” gal looked cute in tall boots, red pants and a jacket as she and her “Smash” co-star Wesley Taylor chatted away while her little dog relieved herself.
In related news, MTV News caught up with McPhee and spoke about what it was like auditioning for her role as Karen in her highly-anticipated NBC show, “Smash.”
"I did have to audition for this," she said. "It was actually one of the more simple auditions I've been through. I auditioned, put myself on tape, flew to New York the next week, was testing for it. I waited two days for Mr. Spielberg to watch the tape and I got the part."
