Hayden Panettiere Covers Women's Health October 2012

With her new show "Nashville" set to premiere on October 10th, Hayden Panettiere thrust her life back in the spotlight a little early by covering the October 2012 issue of Women's Health magazine.

The 23-year-old actress looked darling in a skin tight black mini dress for the Jeff Lipsky cover shot while dishing about everything from singing on her new ABC show to dealing with body image issues.

Highlights from Miss Panettiere's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Women's Health!

On singing for the show "Nashville":
“I always said if I was ever going to do music again, I’d do country. There’s honesty and truth in it. L.A. is more cutthroat, but in Nashville they want you to do well, you see it with the stars. When they’re performing, they’re all cheering for each other.”

On being in the public eye:
"People can tell when you’re happy with being you and when you’re not, it’s only cheesy because it’s true. As I’ve gotten older and grown into my body, I’ve started realizing that the way you carry yourself and that light coming out of your eyes are the most attractive things about you.”

On dealing with body image issues:
“I find out that when I’m overly concerned about what I eat, I stress out my body and put on weight.”
