Enjoying an elegant European evening, Freida Pinto made her way to the Jaeger-LeCoultre hosted gala dinner in celebration of The Rendez-Vous Collection in Venice, Italy on Tuesday (September 4).
The “Slumdog Millionaire” actress looked stunning in a black and gold, sari-inspired Alexander McQueen gown featuring cut outs in the torso section as she schmoozed with fellow guests during the Venice Film Festival held function.
Joining Freida on the red carpet was actor Clive Owen, who is actually one of the representing faces of the Swiss high-end watch maker, as well as Italian actress Cristiana Capotondi.
In related news, as previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Pinto was recently named the new face of Plan International’s Because I Am A Girl campaign, which is something very near and dear to the Hollywood beauty’s heart.
Explaining the importance of the campaign, Freida said, “Educate and empower a girl and she will help build a stronger community. Ask them what their dreams are and they will…tell you that they want to be accountants, doctors, journalists, politicians — but only after they say that they dream of a place that is rid of gender inequality.”
