Welcoming in the weekend, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West looked quite the happy twosome while meandering about the streets of Manhattan on Friday (August 31).

The E! reality star flaunted her figure in tight black leather pants with a matching black top as she held hands and shared a few laughs with her "Mercy" hitmaker beau.

And while the two lovebirds will be among those checking out the latest looks during next week's New York Fashion Week, Kanye happens to be gearing up for another visit to the City of Lights to once again put on a show as part of Paris Fashion Week.

Set to showcase his third womenswear line during the October catwalk festivities, 35-year-old West is hoping to impress the critics after receiving mixed reviews the last time he put together a ready to wear range.

Britney Spears is NOT ready for the end of summer.

The pop star has made this clear with a couple of bikini photos of late, and while we share that sentiment, Labor Day is really only the unofficial end ... especially if you live in SoCal with its year-round warmth and sunshine. But we get the point.

"Having some fun in the sun... don't want summer to be over" she Tweeted yesterday afternoon, presenting this pic to more than 19,900,000 followers:

The previous Britney Spears bikini pic we posted expressed a similar view of life. With the X Factor starting up, she is going to be much busier soon.

It looks likes LeAnn Rimes is going through a rough patch. The singer has entered a treatment facility for what is being called emotional issues. Rimes will spend 30 days at an undisclosed location to deal with some of her problems or as she is calling them emotional issues. I don’t exactly know what that means but it clearly means she is having some troubled times. That or she is really in the facility for something else and her camp came upwiththat excuse, just a thought. LeAnn issued this statement to People magazine regarding her need to seek out treatment. “This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be. All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I’m hoping they’re not going to affect me as much. I’ll have the tools to know how to deal with them.” She may be spending time at the treatment center but Rimes won’t be on lock down for the whole 30 days she is there. Sage Stallone, the son of Sylvester Stallone, died of coronary artery disease, with coroner's officials suggesting that smoking might have played a role.

Coroner Chief Craig Harvey said that Sage had a history of being a heavy smoker, although family members have said the amount had diminished lately.

Sage Stallone died in July at the age of 36.

The coroner declared death by natural causes and the toxicology test came back "negative except for a sub-therapeutic level of hydrocodone."

The drug played no role in his death. A housekeeper found Stallone's body. According to reports, pills were found at the residence and investigators were trying to determine their source and whether they played any role in the death.

Instead, heart disease was the cause of death, and exactly what role, if any, smoking played in that is a question that may never be answered.

Sylvester also lost his half-sister, Toni-Ann Filiti, this week.
