Jersey Shore: Season Six Will Be The Last For Original Cast

For the original cast of Jersey Shore, the sixth season currently being filmed will be their last, In Touch can exclusively reveal.

In Touch has learned that when the cast arrived in Seaside Heights, N.J., on May 31 to begin filming, the crew sat the group down to drop the bomb.

“An executive producer announced that this season will be the last,” an insider reveals in the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands now. “She stressed to the cast that fans will remember them for this season, not the first, so they should bring their A game.”

Luckily, the stars — including Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Deena Cortese — didn’t seem upset.

“They decided to make the most of their final days at the Shore,” adds the insider.
