Portraying her new pain medication abusing character, Rooney Mara was spotted on the set of her new film "The Bitter Pill" in New York City on Tuesday (May 15).
The 27-year-old fit the look of the character as she appeared disheveled in baggy pants, a tan sweater and a jacket that was half falling off while being escorted away by police officers.
In the Upper East Side scene, it seems "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" star is attempting to hail a cab as a getaway from law enforcement but wasn't so lucky.
The new Steven Soderbergh directed drama/thriller follows the story of a woman who turns to prescription medication as a way of handling her anxiety concerning her husband's upcoming release from prison.
The A-list cast also includes Channing Tatum, Jude Law and Catherine Zeta Jones and is set to hit theaters in February 2013.
