2012 ACM Awards Nominations: Kenny Chesney Nabs 9 Nods

The Academy of Country Music announced the nominees for this year’s ACM Awards, this time through their first ever digital press conference revealed on their Facebook page. Several stars were on hand to announce the nominations, including Lionel Richie, Nancy O’Dell, “2 Broke Girls’” Beth Behrs and TVLine’s Michael Ausiello. The full list is below! Kenny Chesney was nominated nine times, including Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year. “You and Tequila”, his duet with Grace Potter, was recognized as well, nominated for Vocal Event of the Year, Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Jason Aldean was recognized with six nods, Lady Antebellum scored five, Brad Paisley nabbed four nominations and Taylor Swift received three. The ACM Awards will be hosted by Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton on April 1st, airing live on CBS.
