Cancer survivor Olivia Newton-John speaks out on Michael Douglas' recent diagnosis with throat cancer.
Newton-John -- who beat her own battle with breast cancer in the 90s -- has been a major donor and supporter of cancer research and also threw her support to tonight's star-studded Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) benefit. The SU2C telecast is a huge fundraising effort aimed at accelerating innovative research for all types of cancer.
The live, one-hour fundraising event will be simulcast commercial-free on major networks and cable stations tonight at 8 p.m. EST/PST. Network news anchors Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer and Brian Williams will anchor the broadcast, which will air in 195 countries.
