With her new movie "Hotel Transylvania" set to hit theaters on September 21st, Selena Gomez got a jumpstart on promotions by covering the September 2012 issue of Teen Vogue magazine.
The 20-year-old actress looked darling in an American Eagle Outfitters shirt with a Jill Stuart bralet and a Gucci necklace for the Boo George shot front page while dishing about topics including movies, music, style and her relationship with Justin Bieber.

On moving away from teen roles:
"Monte Carlo was a good step for me at the time, but I would never want to do something like that again."
On her acting goals:
"Being part of the Disney Channel was such a blessing, and I'm super happy with what my show accomplished, but acting is something I would like to take on more seriously. I don't necessarily feel accomplished. I want to create a whole different persona when it comes to acting."
On her next album:
"It's going to be different — a little older but still really fun."
On her dream music collaboration:
"Who I would die to work with, but I don't think he ever would—I don't even think he's doing music anymore—is Justin Timberlake. Just 'cause I love his music sooo much."
On her personal style:
"I've never been comfortable with saying, 'Here's a top that I'm going to sell for $350, and it's just a T-shirt.' I get sent things that are really nice, and I'm like, 'This is cute,' and I look at the tag and it's $200. I'm like, Oh my gosh, people probably think I buy it, and I don't. It's really weird."
On her relationship:
"It's really fun. I'm lucky. I'm 20. I don't take anything in my personal life too seriously. I have great friends and a solid group of people I love. I feel like everything else will come organically."

Bret Michaels Calls Off Engagement to Kristi Gibson
Every rose might have its thorn, but Bret Michaels no longer has his fiancee: the rocker has called off his engaged to Kristi Gibson.
"Although the couple have separated they remain great friends and are committed to jointly raising their two daughters," the singer's rep tells People.
Michael and Gibson are the parents of Raine Elizabeth, 12, and Jorja Bleu, 7. They were together for 16 years before Bret popped life's biggest question in December of 2010; the moment was caught on camera for a VH1 documentary.
Gibson has been by Michaels' side through a variety of serious ailments over the last couple years, including an emergency appendectomy, a near-fatal brain hemorrhage and a stroke.
He's on a path to full recovery now, but evidently the same can't be said of this relationship.

Well, this is no fun.
Billed as the biggest individual rivalry at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte are being all... classy with each other. Don't they know this is a competition?!?
Not long after Lochte won the Gold Medal in the 400 IM today, Phelps - who did not finish in the top three in that event for the first time since 2000 - sent a congratulatory Tweet to his countryman, writing:
Congrats to @ryanlochte ... Way to keep that title in the country where it belongs!!
The winner then replied: Thanks @MichaelPhelps I couldn't do it with out you. #USA
Phelps has six more events in front of him and needs two medals to set the all-time Olympic mark. But this race belonged to his rival.
“This is my year,” Lochte said after earning Gold. “I know it and I feel it, because I’ve put in hard work. I’ve trained my butt off for four years … and there’s no better way to start this Olympics off than getting gold.”

Logan West, a 17-year old from Southington, Connecticut took home this honor on Saturday night, defeating 15 other finalists from across the nation in a ceremony held in the Bahamas.
The first Teen USA pageant winner in that state's history, West defeated runner-up Miss Michigan Courtney Pizzimenti for the title.
